Culture plays a revolutionary in the development of the human beings . It emphsizies a set of shared attitude , value, goals, and practices to weave the threade of colourful culture spread across religions , tribes , places, with its extraordinary feartures within Goa and excel the artists on the international , scense , Ravindra bhavan was brought to life in the year 2008 ,to fulfill the dreams  and shape the future of Goan art and line it to the diverse cultures of the nation and globe . build on a rambling estate , it serves as a nerve center of  cultural activity in the Salcet Taluka and also hosts many events of  National as well as Internaional significance. The auditorium is known after Goa's famous actor , playwriter ,and a noteable leading figure of konkani tiatr (theatre)_"Pai Tiatrist Jaao Agostinho Fernandis " ,who has also launched many known faces in the region .


it is set up under a directorate of Art , Cultural,Government of Goa in the year 2008 and is spread over a area of 30539 sq.mts . It designed to function in collaboration with National and Internationl Instituttion & academies & also in partnership with art & entertainment industries to offer a variety of courses in performing arts , visual art  , photography , film , telivision , creative writing , costume , etc.

Ravindra Bhavan  also host a various numbers of events in Konkani , Hindi , Marathi , English , and other languages , including Navratri , dahi handi festival , umberella pinting competition , magic shows, and numerous workshops on diverse topics such as aero modelling , animation , theater , carol singing , etc.

The huge campus consist of :
- An air conditioned and fully equipped "pai  Tiatrist - Jaao Augustine Fernandes".
- A conference hall of a capacity of 275 seats.
- Black box of a capacity of 100 seats.
- A huge foyer area at ground floor as well as the first floor  at disposal for exhibution.
- An open air stage with a seat capacity of around 3000 people.
- A mini auditorium with a seating capacity of 150 people.
- An open ground which is used for exhibitions and other outdoor cultural programes.
- Huge parking capacity of arounf 150 cars and 400 bikes .
- office space &a canteen.

The main objective of the organisation is to encourage exchange of various ideas, techniques  between various part of the Salcet Taluka and surrounding areas in regard to dance , drama, music, literature and fibe art  to award prizes & distribution to the individual artist with recognition for outstanding achievements.

It is an emphitheater for various occasions of the emerging artists ,it also foster an appreciation of Art & Cultural with engagement of the audience . Apart from beaches rich and uibrant in its culture , Goa is also showcased with its art , music , dance , literature & shows the Unity of Diversity Ethos of Goa within its ecosystem.

Gateway Of Goa

It is one of the most important railway stations not only in Goa but also, in the Konkan Region. The fact here is that it is the meeting point of South Western Railways as well as Konkan Railways.This station has 2 Entrances. The Holy Spirit Church, Margao, Goa is also popularly called ‘The Margao Church’ locally in Goa. The first Holy Spirit Church in Margao was founded by the Jesuits in 1564. This church was however destroyed in a fire in 1571. The second Holy Spirit Church, Margao was built in 1571, also got destroyed eight years later and the third also was short lived. The fourth Holy Spirit Church, Margao church was built a little further away in 1589. It was the declared scared in 1595, enlarged in 1604 and lasted till 1645.
